A lot of people who experience balding or thinning of hair many times search in vain for the perfect hair growth systems that will fill their heads with hair. While certain systems do encourage some hair growth on bald spots, there is no perfect system available at present.

Alopecia is a disease that affects young people by removing hair from their entire body. In severe cases, the affected individual goes through a regimen of hair regrowth systems, such as using cortisone treatments and therapies, for stopping hair loss.

Such hair growth systems are all administered under the care of a doctor in a hospital setting. Also, hair replacement systems will be useful for you if you don’t have an underlying medical cause for the hair loss, but these are also down by a medical doctor.

Types of Hair Growth Systems

There are three main types of hair growth systems for people experiencing hair loss.

Topical Treatments

The use of topical solutions, prescribed by the doctor is the one option. In this method, you will apply the topical solution to your scalp twice every day. Results for topical treatments are promising, but the method is not effective for all.

About 5% of people topical-solution users did not see any difference at all. The negative side of using these systems is often the side effects such as low blood pressure and weakness that could be very dangerous for you. This is why topical treatments are only used under the care of a doctor.

Surgical Treatments

Surgical hair replacement systems are another option you have. In this method, strands of hair are grafted into your scalp using a needle for hair regrowth. Some patients opt for surgery hair replacement to reduce the size of the bald spot on the top of their head. Another system of hair growth that involves surgery is the flap method. In this technique, areas of hair from the back and sides of the head are rotated to the bald spots. This is the most complicated method of hair growth, and it can involve a lot of bleeding.

The least complicated hair growth system is to use a wig. You can style it to your liking, color it when you want, and remove it when it’s not required.

Hair growth systems often provide good results, but you need to find which system is the one for you.
