Vitamins for Fast Hair Growth

Many people may not even realize it, but our hair is in need of vitamins and minerals in the same way that the rest of our body is. In order to keep our hair healthy and support its normal growth, we need a balanced diet. Our diet actually affects our hair’s condition more than you might think. If your hair follicles are unable to get the nutrients they need, this can lead to a slower than normal growth rate and even excessive hair loss. So if you want to experience truly healthy and vibrant hair, you’ll need to ensure that you are receiving the right amount of vitamins for fast hair growth.

One thing to keep in mind is that the pace in which our hair grows is usually about the same. Most people experience about a half an inch a month of hair growth under normal conditions, or about 6 inches of hair growth in a year. If you are experiencing a slower hair growth rate, making sure your diet includes sources of vitamins needed to grow healthy hair should be your first move. If you find you are not getting these vitamins in sufficient amounts and are unable to change your diet, adding a regiment of vitamin supplements could be a good option to pursue. Well there are actually a lot of vitamins that are known to possess beneficial properties for healthy hair growth. A few are water-soluble vitamins such as B-complex and Vitamin C which should be consumed in sufficient amounts on a daily basis. Vitamins for faster hair growth also include non-soluble ones such as Vitamin A and Vitamin E which can be stored more easily by our bodies and do not require daily consumption.

One of the most notable members of the B-complex Vitamins is Vitamin B7, also known as Biotin. This can contribute to healthy hair growth because of its ability to produce a substance known as Keratin which is well-known for its regenerative properties for our hair. It is so good for our hair that it is a popular ingredient used in the production of conditioners and shampoos.

The use of vitamins for fast hair growth is a valuable ally in your quest for a healthier head of hair. However, you must also keep in mind that too much of a good thing can also be bad. You should not take vitamin supplements when you are already receiving plenty of vitamins through your normal diet as having too high a level of some vitamins can pose a health risk.
